Strategic foresight is best known as an organizational planning framework – a set of tools, templates, and vernacular for helping organizations of all kinds imagine and plan for possible futures. One of the core beliefs of Lavorgna Strategy Studio is that strategic foresight can be applied in a broader set of situations. Seeing an unmet opportunity for individuals – regardless of whether their organizations are currently engaged in a foresight practice – to apply strategic foresight for their own areas of interest, I designed the Personal Futures Canvas as an individual futures exploration tool – and to demystify futures work.
